Lancaster, NH - 2/25/20 - PAK Solutions of Lancaster, New Hampshire, a leader in tamper evident packaging continues to invest heavily in the latest equipment to expand and target new industries, including food & beverage. The custom packaging printer has completed a $7 million expansion, investing in state-of-the-art converting and printing equipment. At the center of this expansion is a new Koenig & Bauer EVO XD Eight-color Press. The press is augmented by additions of a new laminator, slitter and converting lines, creating a one-stop solution for all our client needs. “This investment provides PAK Solutions with state-of-the-art custom printing and converting solutions, with efficient high-speed, flexible production, quality and expanded capability. This allow us to bring to our partnership with our clients the latest technology and the gold standard in print and production capability.” says PAK Solutions’ President, Kevin Powers.

PAK employs on-site design services, partners with CSW, Inc. premedia services and takes a client-centric approach to give clients the option of handing off a job from start to finish. Clients know PAK Solutions for their partnership model, acting as an extension of their clients with packaging design, prototyping and manufacturing operations. They meet the clients’ needs versus fitting in a box of pre-determined solutions. “This kind of service made PAK Solutions a leader in tamper evident and other packaging. PAK Solutions is given new life as an ownership group comprised of successful, like-minded people with strong ties to the New England region save the Lancaster based manufacturing plant from the risk of closure. The owning partners found what could only be described as a working family nestled in the north-country and believed so strongly in the group they had found that they knew they couldn’t let the doors close. A manufacturer who once touted over one hundred employees had dwindled down to about twenty-five but with the dedicated backing and the investments in technology that have come into play the plant is thriving with roughly fifty employees and it is realistic to think that employment will be doubled within the next few years. PAK Solutions has given a breath of fresh air to the Lancaster economy and given some Lancaster natives a chance to breathe, no longer worrying about needing to move their families away from the home they have built.

One of the largest assets that PAK Solutions wields is the ownership group that both cares deeply and is fully committed to the success and growth of the company from the inside out. PAK has recently made significant capital investments and added a new converting line to our production set up which has both largely increased speed as well as significantly decreased our percentage of waste used in production which is a constant goal of ours from top to bottom. While our production rate has become faster we still strive daily to make the highest quality bags and our investment in upgrading our facilities goes a long way in that vein.
